Imray - Inland Waterways of Scotland

This map provides medium scale coverage of the Caledonian, Forth & Clyde, Union and Crinan Canals. It also includes an overview map which shows the geographical relationship of the Scottish canals and disused waterways.
The detailed mapping is supported by useful notes on dimensions, navigation, contacts and facilities. Jane Cumberlidge has also written a more general narrative on the three main waterways. This provides background information and is a guide to places to visit and see along each canal.
Side 1 contains the general narrative, the waterways of Scotland map (scale ¾" to 10 miles approx) and the Crinan Canal map (scale 1½" to 1 mile approx). Side 2 contains the map for the Caledonian Canal (scale 1½" to 1 mile approx) with exploded views of Corpach, Banavie, Gairlochy and Clachnaharry, and the map for the Forth & Clyde and Union Canals (scale 1½" to 1 mile approx) with exploded views of Grangemouth and Bowling.
