By the late 19th Century coracles were fast becoming extinct in the British Isles, they are nowadays rarely seen. The skills required to build and use a coracle are now kept alive by courses, demonstrations and small scale commercial sales.

Filmed at Bewdley Museum, Graham Fisher (waterways writer) and Dave Darby (museum technician) look at the Shrewsbury style coracle, manufacturing one from first principle, and demonstrating it's use on water.
