This one hour DVD follows the progress of the steam powered narrowboat President, and her butty Kildare, along the Well Creek, from Marmont Priory to Salters Lode lock onto the Great Ouse. Filmed during the summer of 2008. The boats were due through here in 2007, on their way to the IWA National Festival at St. Ives, but this trip was cancelled because of flooding on the River Nene.
There is also a brief history of this ancient eight mile long canalized river.
